Module synopsis

21st century business-thinking has turned much of 20th century business-thinking on its head. We thought that beating the competition was our goal, but we now know that a better goal is to create new markets and make our competition irrelevant. (“Blue Ocean Strategy”, Kim and Mauborgne, 2015)

We thought that innovating to meet our best customers’ needs would keep us ahead of the game, but we now know that this is just sustaining innovation, and we need to disrupt our bestsellers before our more agile competitors take our best customers away. Winning strategy works differently now, and it is imperative that business leaders evolve how they develop and land strategy in this new digital age.

This module will give them a deep understanding of each of the 7 Pillars of Strategy-In-Action, and multitude relevant case studies to understand how they are applied in the real world.

This module builds strategic business leaders for the new digital age. Understand the unique ways that a strategic mind works, and how it delivers sustained business success in the 21st century, through 7 Pillars of Strategy-In-Action.

They will evaluate their own initiatives and determine how to make each one more strategic and effective. This module will also guide them on how to create both the hard systems and the soft culture which delivers sustained success.
