Gunung Arong Hike!
Located in Mersing, the hike up Gunung Arong is 5 km and comprises of a 275 metres change of elevation. You will traverse coastal rainforest, walk along a rocky ridge and enjoy a beautiful view at the summit! The duration of the hike is about 3 hours to ascend and descend and is suitable for those with average or good fitness.
Pulau Mawar Hike!
Pulau Mawar is a small restricted island that is only accessible by foot during low tide. Enjoy a breezy walk across the sandbank and manoeuvre your way through the mangrove forest before enjoying the breath-taking scenic view at the end!
Sea Kayaking Expedition!
Radiant’s Sea Kayaking Expedition is either 2.4 KM (Easy), 3.3 km (Intermediate) or 10 KM (Advanced). There are interesting stops along the way to rest, hydrate and take in the beautiful views.
There are even coral outcrops to explore!
Sea Rafting Mission!
Using pipes, ropes and floats, design and build your raft to succeed at the mission that you will be briefed on. Race your raft against your opponents out in the sea during this wet and fun activity, but beware: 50% of rafts don’t make it back in one piece!
Survival Bay
(Please allow for 6 hours for this activity).
Teams bond the best when they embark on a challenging quest together, and work together to successfully surmount the odds!
In Survival Bay, the 1st hour is about planning for your journey. You may bid for resources with the currency you receive.
Then, with kayaks and mega paddleboards, your team journeys over water, to the designated Survival Bay (2 to 3kms away).
Here, you will design your camp base, and build it, ensuring that your team has safe shelter, cooked food, and clean water.
At the same time there are interventions which require you to creatively solve problems, whether:
* in synergy with other camps ~ for example agreeing win-win trades, or facing a common threat / enemy
* in competition with them ~ for example winning scarce resources, or an expert hand to help
* or independently against nature ~ for example catching seafood , or making a solar still
This activity is excellent for building leadership, strategic-thinking,
collaboration and creative problem-solving skills, and for developing a mindset which is resilient and positive.
Team bonds, trust and rapport are sure to deepen after Survival Bay!
Penyabong Beach Olympics
Competitive yet whacky, enjoy a host of beach games on the soft sands and shallow waters of Penyabong’s pretty bays.
Island Hopping & Snorkeling!
Snorkel through the clear and pristine coastal waters of east Johor, and explore thousands of marine creatures and corals across our gorgeous islands!
Make it even more rewarding by using Radiant’s underwater fish and coral ID booklets!
East Coast Food Tour!
East Coast kampungs produce some of the best seafood snacks, including “keropok lekor”, “satar” and “otak-otak”. Learn how to make these.
We will also teach you how to choose, open and make yourself a refreshing coconut drink!
Then lets head-off together to taste-test more of the best local food and drinks!
Marine Ecology Beach Walk!
Our coastal waters is an area of wondrous biodiversity, and an informative beach walk session with our science facilitators will change your perception of the coast for good.
Choose this activity to champion love of learning in your organization!
Sea Battles!
In the safe and shallow seas of Teluk Sari, play a series of battles against the other teams, to win the war!
Exciting battles such as:
* Total Recall ~ Get and relay your intel perfectly, while battling your enemy’s interference!
- Game Changer ~ Be the first to retrieve and unlock your treasure chest for a game-changing advantage
- Speedy Sailors ~ Over land and sea, with multiple tasks along the way, be the fastest sailors of this war!
- Last Man Standing ~ In a direct confrontation with other teams, support your best warrior to be the last one to stay upright!
As is the norm for war games, you will have opportunities to interfere with your competitors’ progress, so plan your tactics well!
CSR : Beach Clean-Up / Community Service!
(In Penyabong, Beach Clean-Ups can be used as way of CSR. Other good options are furnishing and repairing the homes of the elderly and the needy in the area. Running educational sessions to expand the knowledge of the local kids is also recommended. The planning is done by The Radiant Team, based on observations and the advice of community leaders.
Endau Rompin National Half Day Trek!
Endau-Rompin is a beautiful national park in the south-eastern part of Peninsular Malaysia. The vast national park does not only offer pristine forests and majestic waterfalls; it’s also home to some of Malaysia’s most endangered animals, such as the Malayan Tiger and Sumatran Rhinoceros.
