Sungai Cherating is a pristine mangrove estuarine environment, rich with wildlife. Enjoy a 90-minute boat cruise with fascinating nature interpretation by the local guides.
Challenge your team mates to a photography competition, or tag-on mangrove tree-planting to help nature!
Fireflies Evening Cruise!
Travel under the stars, to learn about, and view unique fireflies colonies among the mangrove.
Thousands of fireflies spread over the banks of the river look like stars in the galaxy, creating a vision you won’t forget!

Sea Amazing Race!
Taking place at the grounds of Lagoona, in the calm estuary of Sungai Cherating, the Sea Amazing Race combines rafting, kayaking and tubing, with challenging tasks which will truly require your team’s ingenuity. High excitement from start to finish!
Sea Rafting Mission!
Using bamboo, ropes and floats, design and build your raft to succeed at the mission that you will be briefed on.
Then, after a useful water confidence session for all participants, the wet and wild raft mission begins!
Sea Battles!
Sea Battles are crazy-fun war games played in the shallow waters of the Cherating River estuary.
The adrenaline-filled battles are all about strategizing, fighting and neutralizing your opponents, in order to win the overall war!
Kampung Cooking Challenge!
Taking place at a kampung food stall , you can choose to either learn to cook local savoury delicacies like otak-otak, satar and keropok lekor, or challenge your group-mates to a team cook-off!
Either way, 2 hours of laughter and yummi-ness is guaranteed!
ATV Jungle Trek!
Experience the All Terrain Vehicle or ATV Ride along the coast and through mangrove (1.5 kms, 45 minutes).
9 riders at a time, so we rotate this activity with lokan hunting the the mangroves with a local guide!
CSR: Mangrove Replanting / Turtle Sanctuary!
We depend on mangrove forests far more than we realize. Help mother nature to recover from overdevelopment by planting mangrove seedlings in deforested areas. The whole programme is 3 hours, including 60 minutes of boat ride.
Another great option is to volunteer at the Turtle Sanctuary, including beach clean-up of the area to improve the survival rate of the hatchlings. There is also signage painting, and (depending on season) release of the baby turtles to the sea.
Pulau Ular Snorkeling Trip!
Get on a boat for a 10-minute ride to Pulau Ular (Snake Island) south east of Cherating beach.
You can swim, snorkel, picnic, and trek to the top of the island for panoramic views of the South China Sea.
Radiant handles the lifeguarding and all the equipment, so that you can focus on enjoying yourself!

East Coast Art & Batik!
Under the guidance of the experts, make your tie-dye kaftan, and batik painting, exactly to your liking.
While waiting for the items to dry, take a stroll along the Cherating beach to enjoy the view, cafes and souvenir stalls.
Kuantan Mall Challenge!
Unlike an ordinary trip to the mall, put your team’s creativity to the test and complete the mission within the time and budget given!
Don’t be slow because some things are in short supply!
Bukit Panorama & Lembing Mines!
This 1.9km (45 minutes/way) moderate hike rewards you with views of Sg Lembing river and town, and the Charas Cave limestone formation.
Pitcher plants and fern gardens are amongst the interesting plants along the way.
Then, visit the historic Sungai Lembing mines, once known as the. Eldorado of the East for its wealth!
Bukit Pelindung to Teluk Cempedak!
This hike is 70 minutes, through lush dipterocarp forest, and ends at the scenic and popular beach of Teluk Chempedak. (Moderate difficulty).
Enjoy the seaside and the many options for snacks and drinks, before the transport picks you up to return!
